The Friendly Community Center, a non-profit organization, has been providing Social Services and Community Based Recreational Activities for the enjoyment of the residents of Monroe and surrounding counties for 10 years.
Our Mission Statement is to provide affordable programs and services designed for wellness, life-long learning, and socialization for adults of varying stages of life and abilities.
The FCC offers various programming inclusive of art, fitness, relaxation classes, yoga, language classes, support groups, Brain Health, Men’s fitness and more! We added an online format giving our members the option to attend online or in person or members to “Stay Healthy, Keep Fit and Have Fun! “
The FCC is strictly a nonprofit organization and does not receive state, local or government funding. Our funding comes from grants, fundraising, donations, and sponsorships
