Community Programs are provided by grants, volunteers of The FCC or Community partners and do not require a membership, most programs are free, some may require a materials fee for supplies]. A program that requires a fee, registration is required with payment prior to the class.

DANCE & MOVEMENT AT B.A.R.C
A seated, exercise class using dance movements to benefit anyone with chronic diseases including Parkinson’s, arthritis, fibromyalgia, trouble with balance, and other movement issues. Gentle dance, rhythm, and stretching movements improve flexibility and focus attention on eyes, ears, and touch as tools to assist in movement, increase muscle memory and balance.

DEMENTIA CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP
The Dementia Support Group is for people who are caring for people living with dementia. Caregivers can share caregiving experiences and learn new techniques in care that have been helpful to other caregivers. This support group offers a space to talk, share, brainstorm for solutions, and get the support you need. Let the dementia support group be a part of your dementia caregiver team.

FCC LOSS SUPPORT GROUP AT THE FCC & ONLINE
Whether you lost a loved one, a job, a friend, a pet, or loss of anything important to you , this group is designed to help you cope and understand.

Time: 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 3:30PM AT THE FCC AND ONLINE via ZOOM

FITNESS PARK
The FCC at 6683 Route 191,  is home to The Dottie Hughes Fitness Park – a unique place that allows you to strength train outdoors. Feel free to come work out when it fits YOUR schedule! Park may not be available certain days due to other fitness group usage.

Free PA MEDI (formerly APPRISE) MEDICARE INSURANCE COUNSELING:
A MEDI volunteer counselor will answer questions and help you to better understand your existing Medicare plan. Receive objective information about Medigap (Supplemental) plans and Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans, as well as prescription drug plans, and eligibility to receive Extra Help with your Rx costs. This program is free and provided by the Monroe Area Agency on Aging, with state-certified volunteers. Call MC AAA for an appointment at 570-420-3735.

WOMENS CIRCLE AT THE FCC
Come join us: Women of all ages welcome, we will gather monthly to connect, share, and learn in a safe & fun group setting. Featuring monthly topics and discussions, chosen by the group. 

Participating in a positive, fun, and connected community of women who support one another is the best  way to keep isolation and disconnection away!

Time: Meet on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 5:30PM
