 MEDITATION & REIKI HEALING
Group guided meditation and Reiki healing. A great way to create peace, calm, and clarity. Reiki healing is a gentle and calming practice that supports a deep sense of relaxation. There are plenty of chairs, blankets and supports for your comfort. You can bring your own if you would like. No experience necessary – just an open heart and curiosity. 
Dates:   October 22nd, November 19th, December 17th

STRETCH & RESTORE YOGA
Stretch and Restore: Come join us for restorative yoga for deep relaxation, calm and peace. Gentle stretches and movement, restorative poses and some yin poses. A guided relaxation meditation at the end will have you feeling refreshed and renewed. There are plenty of blankets and support props. You can also bring your own mat, there are some extras in the center. No experience necessary, everyone is welcome.

SERENE SOUND BATH  
Quartz crystal singing bowls are played.  Each one tuned to a chakra energy center where sound nourishes and stimulates the many systems of the body. Stretch out on a mat or sit in a chair and allow the sound to flow energetically through you. Imagine laying perfectly still completely relaxed, while all the water content of the body is doing a shimmy to the resonance of the gong. It is not only the ocean tides that are affected by the pull of the moon, but the water content of our bodies as well. Experience this amazing form of sound healing- Feel energized and relaxed. Benefits include rejuvenation, deep peace, heightened awareness, and relaxation for the mind, body, and spirit.

Time: Thursdays; October 30th, November 20th, December 18th

Cost: $15 per person, If class minimum of 5 is not met The FCC has the right to cancel. Membership is not required to attend.

WATERCOLORS & PASTELS
Join instructor Kimberly Matthew for a relaxing and meditative art experience using pastels or watercolors.
Each week, you’ll create art inspired by a calming image while listening to soothing music—an ideal way to unwind, express yourself, and get creative.
 All supplies and gentle guidance are included, but feel free to bring your favorite brushes, art materials, and even a snack!

You may pay for your program fee or materials fee by one of the following:

  • Stop by The FCC Or B.A.R.C ( Suggested to call to ensure someone will be there)
  • Online payment by clicking on the  link ( if provided) for the program you wish to attend.

• Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
• If materials fees are required to participate in a program, fees must be paid before or at the beginning of the class, unless noted sooner for sufficient materials.
• Some programs and events have maximum group sizes so you might receive a pending approval message at the time of registration. Look for a follow-up email to confirm your registration.
• The Friendly Community Center reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment.

**Credit Card Payments- A small transaction fee of 2.8% + .30 per transaction will be applied to each charge in order to offset the cost to the FCC for providing this service

FCC Class Cancellation Policy

At The Friendly Community Center, we understand that schedules can change. To keep our programs running smoothly and fair for everyone, please review our class cancellation guidelines:

  1. Member Cancellations
    • If you are unable to attend a class, we ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
    • This allows us to offer your spot to another participant if the class is full.
  2. Drop-In And Class Participants
    • Fees are non-refundable.
    • With at least 24 hours’ notice, your fee may be applied as credit toward another class.
  3. FCC Cancellations
    • If The FCC cancels a class due to weather, instructor emergency, or low enrollment, members and drop-in participants will be notified as soon as possible.
    • Credits or rescheduling options will be offered.
  4. No-Shows
    • If you do not attend a reserved class and have not cancelled in advance, the class will be considered used.
