WEEKLY WALKERS
Need some fresh air? Join the Weekly Walkers group for a weekly hike to take in the beauty of our many local hiking trails. Hike trails are easy to moderate and announced a week prior via email.
If needed, hikes will be cancelled due to weather the night before, notification will be made via email, if you do not have an email address we can add you to a phone tree.
As a reminder, it’s always a good idea to bring along some sunscreen and tick spray whenever you venture out for a walk anywhere in the Poconos. For our weekly outings, walking sticks are highly recommended, too. Keep in mind that hiking in the Poconos can involve traversing many types of terrain, sometimes including rocky and/or hilly areas. For your own safety, be sure that you are able to comfortably navigate varying conditions.
Time: Fridays at 9:30 AM- Meet at The Friendly Community Center
