St. Luke’s Monroe Campus is launching an 11-week, 10-walk Walk with a Doc series, every Monday evening at 5PM beginning April 9th and continuing through June 18th (no walk on Memorial Day). Each walk begins with a very brief educational talk, followed by a walk. Come learn, ask questions, socialize, and get your 30 minutes of moderate exercise in for the day! And as an extra incentive for seniors – Did you know that St. Luke’s Monroe Campus offers a discounted older adult meal seven nights a week? That’s correct. Between 4 and 6PM every night, those age 65 years and older can enjoy dinner for $3.99. So…you can come before the Walk with a Doc, have dinner, then go for a nice after-dinner stroll, or, after we finish our walk at around 5:45, you’ll have just enough time to head inside and enjoy a nice post-exercise meal. The choice is yours!
